Who am I?

Hello stranger,

I’m Daphne Law. 25, still in university and living off my parents. Not proud of it, hence feeling really glad about joining the harsh and cruel world of working life next January. I’m originally from Singapore, but have learned to call Adelaide a second home. Do not ask me to choose which place I prefer, that’s a very tough question.

I will (hopefully) be a medical professional. I do not know what I want to be when I REALLY grow up. Random thoughts ranging from Pathology to Surgery have crossed my mind, but I have not really swayed towards any one particular speciality. It’s abit like being in a candy shop. How can you choose Gobstoppers over Gummy bears? And live with that one candy for the rest of your working life?

Besides Medicine which consumes most of my life, I also like to play badminton even though I’m not fab at it. I play with the Glenelg Badminton Club and I am the youngest member of the C division league. They look after me really well and I like my team very much. I also started doing Bikram Yoga which makes me sweat like a pig. You feel pretty miserable in the room but all’s worth it when you step out of the room back into reality.

So this blog is really just about me and how I feel about the world I live in. Forgive the rantings at times!
